As a native Texan, the Big Bend National Park has been in my backyard my entire life. A quick days drive to see the darkest skies known, and some of the more interesting landscape in Texas. My loving wife corrected this error in my judgement, and we had a great weekend of hiking, exploring and enjoying life deep in the heart of Texas. The parks food was also fairly edible.
